Gastro Horror Coming to Streaming July 2025

It’s my birthday month, July! June blew by, but luckily, we’ve got some great gastro horror dropping this month. I’m just going to assume it’s a birthday gift because a few of these are some of my favorite gastro horror releases from the past few years. I mean, there is no one to deny it, right? So let’s just dive right into the July 2025 offerings!

July 1st

  • Bones and All Abandoned by her father, a young woman embarks on a thousand-mile odyssey through the backroads of America where she meets a disenfranchised drifter. But despite their best efforts, all roads lead back to their terrifying pasts and to a final stand that will determine whether their love can survive their otherness. (Tubi, Pluto TV)
  • The Hills Have Eyes (2006)- The remake of Wes Craven’s 1977 horror shocker about a family on vacation who get stranded in the desert battling terrifying cannibal mutants. (Tubi)
  • The MenuA young couple travels to a remote island to eat at an exclusive restaurant where the chef has prepared a lavish menu, with some shocking surprises. (Tubi)

July 11th

  • Drop Violet, a widowed mother on her first date in years, arrives at an upscale restaurant where she is relieved that her date, Henry, is more charming and handsome than she expected. But their chemistry begins to curdle as Violet begins being irritated and then terrorized by a series of anonymous drops to her phone. (Peacock)Drop

July 21st

  • The Stuff (4K)- Amalgamated Dairies hires David Rutherford, an FBI man turned industrial saboteur, to investigate a popular new product called “the Stuff,” a new dessert product that is blowing ice cream sales out of the water. Nobody knows how it’s made or what’s in it, but people are lining up to buy it. It’s got a delicious flavor to die for! (Arrow Player)
  • Swallow Hunter, a newly pregnant housewife, finds herself increasingly compelled to consume dangerous objects. As her husband and his family tighten their control over her life, she must confront the dark secret behind her new obsession. (Shudder)

July 28th

  • Shaky Shivers Two young women find themselves at an abandoned camp in the woods with a book of magical spells surrounded by classic monsters in this comedic send-up of ’80s horror films. (Arrow Player)
